David Lile of KFRU gave a presentation to the club.

Ron Netemeyer presented Alex Fadler with gifts for his trip as a Student Ambassador to Australia this summer. The club will provide some financial sponsorship to Alex for this trip.
Chris Gervino gave a presentation to the club regarding local sports. In particular Chris discussed with the group some of the team changes and recent news stories from Mizzou basketball.

Business:
BBQ
Preparations continue for the BBQ. We would like to encourage everyone
to get the word out. The BBQ will be June 8th from 3:00-8:00p.m. The Washer
Tournament will be at 1:00 p.m.
Press releases have been sent to all the local media of radio, tv, and
newspapers for their community calendars. Posters will be placed in the
local businesses.
Tickets are $8.00 for adults, children 5 and under eat free.
Everyone please signup to help for a shift at the BBQ. This will be a big event and will need everyone's support. Calling committee members will be contacting you to sign you up.
Raffle tickets are available to pickup. Sell as many of these as you can. There are some nice prizes we will be raffling such as a DVD, Elk Print, and Dinner for 2 at the Outback Steak House. Tickets are 1 for $1.00 or 7 for $5.00 .
Ron asked Barb Corwin to check with the Guard about getting an article or advertising about the BBQ.
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
John Berkbuegler showed the group the T-shirt design for the tournament.
John is also looking for 3-4 portable basketball goals to use for the
tournament.
The speaker for June 15th will be Dave Murphy, Downtown Optimists, to discuss what the latest news is for Optimist International.
There will be no meeting on May 25, 2002. The next meeting will be June 1st. Team 5 will be responsible for breakfast.
